Germany's Hardest Bodies Aren't Shy
Germany is absolutely teeming with nude men—nude male sculptures, that is.
From the Habsburg Empire's celebration of the Roman figure to interwar representations of the gym bunny ubermensch, German artists have carved quite a place for themselves in the annals of the male nude.

But how do these men, active between 1890 and 1947, compare to 16th Century artist Adriaen de Vries and his rendering of Hercules? And what about Eberhard Encke's testosterone-filled "Faustkämpfer?" Is that the top hard body here? Take a peek and judge for yourself.
