PHOTOS: The Scene in Vegas at First-Ever Life is Beautiful Fest

Hipsters and hotties from all over the West Coast descended on downtown Las Vegas this weekend to listen to artists like Beck, eat top-notch food, and check out phenomenal street art.

By almost all accounts the first Life is Beautiful event was a success. The two-day music, food, and arts festival took over several blocks of downtown Vegas, introducing many to the urban core of the gambling mecca. New murals, many of which will remain permanent, decorated the walls of old casinos, artists like The Killers, Zedd, and Janelle Monae performed, and famous chefs like out stars Susan Feniger and Cat Cora cooked for the crowds. Everyone was well-behaved, with many adorable LGBT revelers around the desert streets. Check out the action below:
