Ready for her 'Wrecking Ball'?

Madame Tussauds, the global leader in celebrity wax sculptures (yeah, that’s a thing) has revealed one of their biggest creations at their Las Vegas location. Miley Cyrus’s likeness from her much-discussed video for “Wrecking Ball” has been immortalized in wax. No, it’s not from the part where she’s naked, or that other part when she was licking that sledgehammer. It’s just the part where she was gliding around the room on top of said wrecking ball.

The sculpture stands more than 10-feet tall at the tallest point from the bottom of the ball to Cyrus’ head, took six months to make, and weighs over 200 pounds. After sculpting the figure in clay, then casting it in plaster, then filling the mold with wax, Cyrus is suspended from a crane in front of the Venetian Hotel and Casino, and will eventually become a permanent fixture in the Music Room of Madame Tussauds Las Vegas.
