One of late summer's most beloved gay parties, the 42-year-old Southern Decadence event fills New Orleans's already-packed streets with an extra 120,000 scantily-dressed revelers and brightly-colored Krewe members and locals. Known as a city of the dead, New Orleans never seems more alive than during this wild fiesta, centered around the infamous Oz nightclub. Check out the scene on the following pages.
