Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards This Weekend in Palm Springs

The Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards, named after the renowned interior designer who first organized the event and one of the year’s biggest social affairs in Palm Springs, will take place on Saturday, February 7 at the Palm Springs Convention Center.

This year’s honorees — Dr. Michael Stuart Gottlieb (Science and Medicine Award), Helene Galen (100 Women Award) and David Morgan (Partners for Life Award) — will be recognized as part of a show emceed by actor and comedian Mario Cantone, and featuring performances from Shoshana Bean, Scott Alan, and the So You Think You Can Dance All Star Cast.

Since its inception in 1995, the gala has raised millions of dollars for direct client services at Desert AIDS Project. Tickets for this year’s event may be purchased on the Desert AIDS Project website.
