QUEST10NS: Bianca Del Rio

We find out who has his way with the RuPaul's Drag Race winner every day.

Halloween is almost here and we can't think of anything scarier than being caught on the receiving end of Bianca Del Rio’s rapier wit. This year, the Rupaul’s Drag Race winner and insult comic has taken her acerbic tongue on the road, bring her show, Rolodex of Hate, to destinations worldwide. Luckily, Bianca took a break from ripping into another hapless victim and answered our extra-spooktacular edition of QUEST10NS:

Where did you go on your last trip?
Puerto Vallarta, for my 40th birthday. I had never been before and it was great fun. This hotel invited us to come down - the Riviera del Rio - and it was great because we had all the rooms.

What was your favorite memory from it?
Drinking. I don’t usually have much time for drinking but I had many margaritas. Oh, and the sunshine.

Where will you be spending Halloween this year?
New York City. I’ll be there for a week to see some friends as well as to host the Halloween party at Madame Toussaud’s.

Best place to spend Halloween?
New Orleans. It’s always fun. There’s a huge circuit party that goes on for three or four days with tons of people. And, you know, in New Orleans the party never ends. If you can survive Halloween in New Orleans, you're what they call a true reveler. It’s some serious shit.

Where is the scariest place you’ve ever traveled to?
This hotel in New Zealand with really creepy bathtubs. I don’t know how else to describe it other than that it was just creepy. And, the hotel was in a weird part of town. It was like stepping into 1982.

You often warn the Prince of Darkness not to mess with you by declaring, “Not today Satan!” Will Halloween finally be his day?
Satan has his way with me every day.

What hotel, airline, tourist attraction is in your Rolodex of Hate and why?
The airline that lost my luggage in Wisconsin. You know what a drag queen is without her luggage? A man. Trying to find size 12 shoes and eyelashes in Wisconsin is daunting.

What city on your upcoming tour are you most looking forward to visiting and why?
Everywhere city we’ve gone to...with 90 performances in all...has been great. I’m really looking forward to going back to London though. And, Portland, Oregon was unexpected. Really beautiful.

How many bags do you pack when you travel to do a Rolodex of Hate show?
Three. One for clothes, one for hair and a small duffel bag of boy clothes. Plus one for merchandise. Or sometimes two. Four or five bags.

Where will you go on your next adventure?
I loved Paris and Amsterdam. We really had a lot of fun in Amsterdam. I’d love to be able to go back to when I can spend a minute and enjoy the place.
