Cyndi Lauper Takes Country Music 'Detour'

And Boy George joins her on the road!

Pop icon, Cyndi Lauper hits the road with some tunes outside her usual repertoire. The artist's musical Detour tour features her take on country music classics of the '40s, '50s, and '60s, and are available on an album of the same name.

The singer kicks off her 19 city tour in Nashville on May 9. There, in the country music capital, she'll be joined by Boy George, who will also appear at select other locations for some classic country duets. Cyndi Lauper's Detour album bows three days earlier (May 6) and features duets with legends like Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris, Vince Gill, and Alison Krauss.
