VIDEO: West Hollywood Employs Hot Guys, Humor to Keep Pedestrians Safe

Addressing an epidemic of crashes between cars and pedestrians in West Hollywood, city officials put together this arresting video.

West Hollywood officials sure know how to get their residents' attention. Hoping to prevent additional accidents between drivers and pedestrians, they hired drag queen Willam Belli to play Alice in Wonderland and tossed him into the streets of Boystown with a gaggle of dancers and hot guys. Set to the tune of Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off," the video warns walkers to get off their phones and pay attention to the road (sure, but what about the drivers?). The result is pretty impressive — it was written, directed, and choreographed by former American Idol contestant Todrick Hall — but only time will tell if it's effective; watch below.
