The overnight to Vegas: quite possibly the most brutal of all road trips and a rite of passage for any party-hardy Angelino. Sure, the four-hour trek there is a piece of cake. Fueled by anticipation, you'll whiz up the 15 freeway without a thought. It's the trip back the next day - broke, hung over and sleep-deprived - that will test your mettle.
But, even if your trip to Vegas originates from afar or you have a few days carved out on the Strip, you'll still want to have the essentials on hand to make the most of your stay.
