In the Bag: California Coast

A spontaneous road trip, instigated by nothing more than an idyllic weekend forecast and a mild case of cabin fever, led them up the PCH (known to visitors as the Pacific Coast Highway). With an overnight bag packed for three casual days — nautical navy-and-white (often in stripes), with a dash of Americana red thrown in for good measure — they set out for a beach-hopping adventure.
