Every year, the queers officially stake their claim to Fire Island on Fourth of July Weekend. Traditionally dubbed “Invasion,” people flock from the five boroughs of New York City and beyond to infuse the Pines with all the queer style, costumes, and showmanship a glorious summer warrants. This year, Daily Front Row sent fashion illustrator A.E. Kieren to sketch some of the arrivals and add that extra layer of drama and finesse that only the seasoned flick of an artists's wrist can create.
