Gay street artist Keith Haring was born on May 4, 1958 in Reading, Pennsylvania. His art career was brief but incredibly productive, spanning the decade of the 1980s. Haring died of AIDS related complications at the age of 31 on February 16, 1990. In honor of his birthday we're celebrating his life, work, and influence with this virtual tour of the first major retrospective of this work, "The Political Line," at the Paris Museum of Modern Art on April 20, 2013. The show displayed this poster of Haring painting in Paris.
