Summer 2015 may be on its way out, but before you surrender your sunbathing and beach breezes, make one last memorable trip. And what better place than Las Vegas? The temperatures may be cooling off in other places during September, but Vegas keeps the heat year-round.

PRIDE Sept. 13-19

What, did you think PRIDE was over? June may be one of the biggest months for celebrations, but Vegas brings their fashionably late festivities in September. With a week of Gay Days from Sept. 8-14, and the lesbian-centered Shedonism from Sept. 17-21, you’ll be all warmed up for the big weekend of events and festivities. The Las Vegas PRIDE Night Parade marches through Downtown Las Vegas on 4th Street between Gass and Ogden Ave on Sept. 18, and the Las Vegas PRIDE Festival takes up residency at the Clark County Government Center on Sept. 19. There’s still plenty of opportunity to add more PRIDE-centric memories to a historic year of equality.

El Grito Sept. 12-16

The celebration for Mexican Independence Day, or El Grito de Dolores, starts every year on Sept. 15. This year, notable musical talent from across Latin America is coming out to celebrate. Latin pop icon Ricky Martin will be stopping by The AXIS at Planet Hollywood on Sept. 15 as part of his One World Tour 2015 to support his latest album, A Quien Quiera Esucher

Enrique Iglesias will be taking up residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for two nights on Sept. 13 and 14. For almost 20 years, Iglesias has been one of the most recognized names on the Latin music scene, and will be playing some of his best hits along with new favorites from his Sex and Love album for this tour stop that coincides with El Grito.

At the Mandalay Bay Events Center, Marc Anthony and Carlos Vives will light up the night on their UNIDO2 tour. With over 30 million albums sold, Anthony is a recognizable ambassador of Latin music and culture, and has the GRAMMYs for Best Tropical Latin Album and Best Latin Pop Album to prove it. Vives hails from Columbia and is a singer, composer, and actor.

A Month of Music

It’s great to have a cause, but sometimes it’s best to just dance for dancing’s sake. From star-filled festivals to concerts from cherished favorites, Vegas brings music lovers together across myriad genres.

Now in its third year, the Life is Beautiful Festival entwines some of the world’s best music with unparalleled food and beverage options, along with public speakers and prominent art to create a one-of-a-kind experience. This year’s powerhouse lineup runs from Sept. 25-27 and features Imagine Dragons, Stevie Wonder, Kendrick Lamar, Duran Duran, Hozier, Weezer, Death Cab for Cutie, and Brandon Flowers of The Killers, all performing across four stages in the heart of the newly reinvigorated Downtown Las Vegas.

One of the biggest music events on the planet, iHeart Radio Music Festival, returns to the MGM Resorts Village in Las Vegas and kicks off September 19 with performances by Nick Jonas, Trey Songz, and more. The festival draws some of the biggest talents in the industry and is always one of the biggest contributors to end-of-the-summer FOMO, so don’t miss out.

Fall Features

As temperatures start to cool across the country, Vegas keeps it hot with a never-ending lineup of quality entertainment.

The Route 91 Harvest Festival brings some of country music’s biggest names together from Oct. 2-4 at the MGM Resorts Village. The three-day, two-stage festival will feature Florida Georgia Line, Tim McGraw, and Keith Urban, along with Lady Antebellum, Jake Owen, A Thousand Horses, Frankie Ballard, Mark Chesnutt, Easton Corbin, and Clare Dunn, among others.

In one of the most anticipated music events of the year, Janet Jacksonis doing a two-night stint at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood as part of her Janet Jackson: Unbreakable World Tour. The award winning music legend will be supporting her new album, which is slated for a fall release and is known for putting on one hell of a show. With more than 160 million albums sold around the world, Jackson’s Vegas show will be a must-see.
