Sniffies investigates the queerness and homoeroticism inherent in frat culture – and here are the mouthwatering pics to prove it.

Sniffies, the map-based gay hookup app featured in the latest print issue of Out Traveler, is celebrating fraternity life on campus with its own rush week, #SniffiesRush, and you’re invited to join in all the repressed sexuality and homoerotic fun. No need to don your favorite toga and head down to your local university to participate – just visit Sniffies. You can also use the #SniffiesRush hashtag to share pics of yourself wearing the latest of Sniffies gear while performing wholesome time-honored frat house traditions like lube wrestling, public nudity, and lots of hot gay sex.

The #SniffiesRush campaign started October 19, just in time for celebrating Halloween – in your favorite costume or out of it!

“Sniffies Rush is about critically examining the toxic masculinity traditionally found in male fraternity space, and flipping it on its head to reveal some of the queer aspects that lay at its heart,” Eli Martin, Sniffies’ CMO and creative director, said in a statement. “Instead of the homophobia and false machismo often associated with frats, we’re highlighting themes common to our queer experiences like chosen family, and a sense of belonging as well as the exploration and curiosity that come in creating these new relationships.”

Don’t have any Sniffies’ gear? No worries, because Sniffies just launched its new line of merchandise featuring t-shirts, jersey, and a sweater. In the spirit of the campaign, Sniffies has reimagined traditional fraternity aesthetics for a queer audience and market, making for some hot times ahead on campus (or in your own backyard).
