We've found four spectacularly spooky Airbnb rentals for Halloween.

Are you looking to make this Halloween authentically frightful? Then how about spending the night in a haunted house. No fear should you not know where to find one, here are four Airbnb listings available to book for a cozy night's stay. We just can't promise you'll be the only boarder on site. Sleep well!

The Haunted Castle House, Brumley, Missouri - This 169-year-old Victorian castle-style house (photo at top), considered to be one of the most haunted homes in the Midwest, had previously functioned as both a hospital and a funeral home. Besides paranormal activity, the building also features black walnut floors, a two-story turret and a pair of cemetaries out back.

The Parkes-Bowman Mansion Haunted Bedroom, New Orleans, Louisiana - Although there are three rooms available to rent in this lovely Garden District home, you will want to stay in the charmingly sweet bedroom up on the third floor. Hopefully you won't mind having a roommate: A young girl in a yellow dress from the 1890s has been known to occasionally make an appearance.

The Haunted Bedroom at Talliston, Great Dunmow, United Kingdom - The master bedroom of this home has, for some reason, been decorated as if occupied by an Edwardian child and, if that weren't creepy enough, boasts features like "intimate, low lit in-period wall lighting and candles. Heavy drapes and wardrobe space. Sounds of ocean at base of cliffs outside windows. Unexplained smells and sounds. Not for the faint hearted."

Laura's Cottage, Savannah, Georgia - This historic 1799 cottage sits comfortably near the heart of the city's historic district and all its attractions. It's also a favorite stop on local ghost tours, presumably because one of its former inhabitants (named Laura) still likes to visit.
