Billy Reid is once again partnering with the Newport Folk Festival. The nonprofit music festival takes place in Newport, Rhode Island, and aims to preserve and celebrate American folk music. Beginning in 1959, the festival was a staple of the Civil Rights Movement and the venue where Bob Dylan first went electric in 1965.
Having contributed to the festival in previous years by sponsoring parties, performances, and screenings, Billy Reid has recently released a MSL/NFF collection inspired by the festival. Twenty percent of all sales go toward the festival.
