From the Couch to the Kitchen, Airbnb Guests are Having Lots of Sex

Next time you question that cleanup fee when booking an Airbnb, you may want to take a look at a new study that shows that guests are having sex, a lot of it, and their sexual shenanigans aren’t just staying in the bedroom.

It seems, according to a study of over 1,000 Airbnb-ers, that 54% of renters have sex with the act taking place in the shower, the couch, the kitchen counter, and the kitchen table.

More than a quarter say that they’ve used the shower for hooking up and seven percent have toasted more than just buns in the kitchen (think about that one before making a special vacation meal).

Don’t feel too bad for hosts who have to clean up after visitors, there have been plenty of horror stories where Airbnb’s have been used for porn shoots where sex toys, enemas, and dirty sheets were left behind—now that’s a mess we wouldn’t want to clean up.
