Who wouldn't want to be in warm, beautiful Brazil when gorgeous soccer players from around the world take to the field? The 2014 FIFA World Cup is on now, taking place in sporting venues all over Brazil until July 13. Trying to cash in on some of the football hysteria, Miami International Airport is offering some fun for those not making it to Rio or Sao Paulo, or those on their way there.
If you'll be at Miami Airport, one of the nation's most pleasant airports, keep an eye out for Brazilian song and dance performances, pop-up soccer fields, Wii soccer games, and football-themed art. The airport is expecting nearly 200,000 passengers traveling through MIA on their way to matches in Brazil, so expect a lot of pick-up games in the terminal. Click here for more info.
The city of Miami also has plenty planned for World Cup, with everything from viewing parties to soccer-themed poetry readings.
