Don't Miss: Visual AIDS' 18th Annual Postcards from the Edge

It's the opportunity to get original artwork from the likes of Yoko Ono and Jeff Koons for under a hundred bucks—and help fund Visual AIDS' important work.

Since its founding in 1988, Visual AIDS has utilized art to fight AIDS by provoking dialogue, supporting HIV+ artists, and preserving a legacy. Over the past 18 years, their annual event, Postcards from the Edge, has grown into a highlight of the New York art scene, a chance for anyone to build up a collection.

Displayed anonymously, more than 1500 postcard-sized pieces are available for only $85. Donated work is submitted from around the world, from up-and-comers to giants in the field, such as Yoko Ono and Jeff Koons. It offers a uniquely egalitarian approach to art, with all proceeds helping fund the important work done by Visual AIDS.

Tonight's preview party gives prospective buyers the chance to see the full collection before Saturday's opening, when the venue is swarmed with people trying to grab their favorites first. The sale runs from 10am-6pm on Saturday, and 12pm-4pm on Sunday.
