BEST 4: WOMEN
A thrillingly bewildering array of options attest to the existence of an energetic, innovative and vibrant women's scene in New York. The Village Voice called Snapshot at Bar 13 (35 E 13th St., at University Pl.; 212-979-6677; www.snapshotnyc.com or www.myspace.com/snapshotnyc) the "best rocker dyke party" in the city.

FRIDAY
