Top Five Holiday Cocktails

'Tis the season to get your drink on with five of our favorite wintery drinks.

Coco Loco

2 ounces Flor de Ca?a 7-year-old
1/2 ounce Godiva Milk Chocolate Liqueur
Thin slice of haba?ero chili
Dash of cinnamon
2 teaspoons of brown sugar
2 ounces of milk Grated pistachios for garnish Whipped cream (optional)

Pour the rum, chocolate liqueur, and milk into a small pot, and add the slice of chili, cinnamon, and sugar. Simmer on low to medium heat until hot. Pour the hot chocolate into an Irish coffee mug, and add an optional topping of whipped cream. Garnish with grated pistachios.MORE INFO

Sapphire Gin and Mint Nog

2 parts Bombay Sapphire Gin
2 parts ginger liqueur
1 peppermint tea bag
2 parts eggnog
Mint leaf for garnish

Pour Bombay Sapphire Gin into a mixing glass. Add the peppermint teabag, and let it steep for a couple of minutes. In the meantime, whip the egg white with sugar until stiff, and fold in the egg yolk, heavy cream, milk, and nutmeg. Combine equal parts eggnog and peppermint-infused gin in a shaker over a small amount of ice, roll the mixture, and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a mint leaf.MORE INFO

Gingerbread Man

2 parts Bombay Sapphire Gin
2 parts ginger liqueur

Hot Apple Xant?

Fresh ginger
1 ounce Lucid absinthe
1/2 ounce demerara sugar syrup (or simple syrup)
Dash of freshly grated cinnamon
Dash of freshly grated nutmeg
1/2 ounce fresh lemon
1/4 ounce green chartreuse
Ginger ale

In a mixing glass, muddle 3 chunks of fresh ginger. Add all ingredients but ginger ale. Shake thoroughly with ice, then strain over fresh ice in a highball glass. Top with ginger ale. Garnish with a small Christmas tree gingerbread cookie.MORE INFO

Mistletoe Make-Out

1 ounce VeeV A?a? Spirit
1/2 ounce Grand Marnier
Handful of cranberries, blackberries and blueberries
Dash of allspice
1 ounce Cr?mant d?Alsace
Mistletoe for garnish

Muddle the berries in a mixing glass and add allspice. Pour the berry puree into a cocktail shaker and add VeeV A?a? Spirit and Grand Marnier. Shake well with ice and pour into a champagne flute. Top off with Cr?mant d?Alsace, and garnish with mistletoe at the base of the glass.MORE INFO
