With over 150 spas participating by offering two to three full-service treatments for 50 dollars, New York Spa Week (April 14th-20th) is just in time to add a little spring bounce to kicking off the season. This is, of course, particularly welcome news for those of you who spent the howling winter cooped up in fluorescent cubicles -- you know who you are!
This year, in addition to a "green" theme of organic, herbal and detoxifying treatments, some of out favorite gay spas are also participating.
Owned by life and business partners, Xac and Anthony, the Xac Anthony Salon & Spa in the heart of Chelsea has gone beyond the two-three minimum by offering all of their services for 50 dollars apiece during Spa Week, bringing an hour's massage -- they offer eight different styles -- down almost two-thirds is regular price. If relaxing could be decadent, it would happen here.
