The Avenues of Art & Design, at the crossroads of Melrose Avenue, Beverly Boulevard and Robertson Boulevard, have been at the forefront of luxury shopping and the myriad (over 300!) of gourmet restaurants, art galleries, spas, designer fashion in picturesque boutiques and designer furniture showrooms are a draw for the savvy shopping crowd. This year, for something a little different, West Hollywood, CA (fondly referred to as WeHo or BoyzTown) announces its first ever “Avenues Holiday Shopping Night.”
This event will be held December 11th 2008, 6-9pm. And aims to provide" the perfect dose of holiday glamour complete with exceptional hospitality." Just for the night, all participating business will stay open past their closing time to offer shoppers special discounts as well as the incentive of tasty hors d'oeuvres and complimentary beverages. To name just a few, Co Co de Mer, Kreiss, Beckley, Westwood Carpets, and DK Vogue will all be opening their doors for eager customers. In the spirit of the holidays, Carolers and jolly Santas will be on hand to liven up the atmosphere and each shop window will feature a decorative display.
