Captain America Does Scotland
When you sit down with a bucket of popcorn next year, and oogle at Chris Evans as the Nazi-fighting superhero, Cap'n American, you'll see a scene that involves tanks and explosions and a beautiful little cobbled village in Scotland. Well, in case you're planning a trip and are a movie buff, a tipster tell us the scenes were recently filmed in medieval Culross (pronounced "Cool-ross") in Fife. The action took place around the old Mercat Cross.
The historically preserved village is a real little gem, that if you do go all the way to the UK, you shouldn't miss. It's not the first movie set there: The Little Vampire used a castle in the village, and Kidnapped shot on location, too.
