It’s gonna be a long hot summer and unless you happen to live in paradise (we're thinking Fiji), you’re going to want to get away. Now you can escape... for less! Launched last Friday, Out Escapes is a new portal for gay travelers and their cool-with-it allies looking for certified LGBT-friendly properties at cut rates, plus freebies, events, and some soon-to-launch social networking goodness. Right now, it's in the midst of wrapping up its first sales and offerings.

The member’s only site, vis-à-vis Jetsetter, offers exclusive deals on properties all around the world, from Costa Rica to the Atacama Desert and Upstate New York. Hand-picked packages include fantastic extras to make your getaway extra fabulous, like free cocktails at check-in, comp transfers and tours, or skipping the queue at events. Savings hover 30-50% off standard room rates.

If you’re looking for a more structured holiday, the site also offers tours and excursions with all the odds and ends taken care of, like a last-minute Israel Pride trip in conjunction with Steele Luxury Travel ($400 off). Tour guides, transportation, accommodation, and all the sticky minor details will be taken care of so you won’t have to stress over it.

Out Escapes will be launching its “Meet Me Here” service in July to help you coordinate your trips with friends. “Meet Me Here” will allow you to post and compare properties and events, so bring the whole gang.

Registration’s free, so sign up here.
