Join Out Magazine and Lords for an Artsy NYC Pride Brunch
What better way to celebrate the creativity of being gay than with the meal we practically invented?
On Saturday, June 23, 11am-3pm, the Pride-week pop-up of Lords New York at the Hotel on Rivington, hosts the "Proud to be Creative" brunch, co-sponsored by yours truly. $40 gets you a prix fixe menu in the hotel's sceney American brasserie -- think Bananas Foster Waffles with whipped Nutella, Red Velvet Pancakes, or Spicy Tuna Eggs Benedict with Nori Hollandaise -- plus two complimentary Kanon Vodka cocktails. It’s all in celebration of the creativity of the LGBT community. Accordingly, there will be a special art installation to compliment the boîte's awesome El Camp photo wall of LES notables, music by DJ Justin Dawson, and a silent auction of youth-created art that will benefit the Hetrick-Martin Institute.
