"I look at Chicago as an open canvas and a playground," artist and dancer Nick Cave says of his hometown. Known for his whimsical "Soundsuits" -- bodysuits crafted from a variety of eccentric ephemera, both shown in galleries and used as costumes for performances -- Cave is an expert of local cultural destinations. "It's an amazing city architecturally," he says. "I'm always finding more and more inspiration in the everyday around me."
