The 45th annual Village Halloween Parade begins at 7 p.m., with a route up Sixth Avenue, from Spring to 16th Street. Dancers, artists, puppets (scary), and 53 bands will line the route. The parade's theme is I AM a Robot! and Machine Dazzle serves as grand marshall. More info here.

The famous West Hollywood Carnavale is billed as "the largest Halloween street party in the world." It is indeed massive, taking up the whole of WeHo's Boystown area, and attracts half a million people.
Chicago
The 22nd annual Halloween on Halsted Parade takes over the Windy City's gay boulevard at 8 p.m. Running on Halsted from Belmont to Addison, the parade is going with a Twisted Circus theme this year. Dress warm — it's going to be in the 40s for Halloween! More info.
