The Golden Throne

Known as a bit of a bad-boy in the art world, Maurizio Cattelan has never pulled punches with his provocative work. And, now, after a five-year hiatus from the making art, he's back with a very buzzworthy new piece: a fully-functioning 18k gold toilet installed in a restroom and entitled "America." Visitors can (and, in fact, are encouraged to) individually view and use the extravagant commode, making this a very participatory installation.
