As part of Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, which wraps Sunday, dozens of Cher impersonators and faux sailors hopped on top of a battleship and recreated "If I Could Turn Back Time."
The iconic Cher video was brought to life at Sydney's Darling Harbour, on top of HMAS Vampire, a giant ship used by the Australian navy. The main Cher is portrayed by Vanity Faire, with lots of back-up from other impersonators and a hundred "sailors."
Cher herself has seen the performance and loved it. "What could be more fabulous than a Cher-Off," she tweeted. "You have my blessing!! Rip it up Aussie Boys!"
