Watch: Trailer for Britain's First Trans Sitcom, 'Boy Meets Girl'

"I never had a son. I had a daughter, who came out a bit wrong."

British television will see its first trans sitcom air this September on BBC 2. Boy Meets Girl, which star trans actress Rebecca Root, as 40-year-old Judy, and actor Henry Hepple, as 26-year-old Leo, as a new couple, was discovered through an open call for scripts with positive portrayals of trans people.
