The inaugural Northern Virginia Pride festival had perfect timing.

For the increasingly-blue state of Virginia, marriage equality is now a reality. Happy Virginians in the progressive northern part of the state rejoiced recently at the first-ever Northern Virginia Pride event, held in the Fairfax County town of Centreville.

Over 2,000 people attendees enjoyed food, entertainment, karaoke, and a large dog park. Everyone appeared to have a blast — check out the scene below:
