America's favorite Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen (sorry Celine), who has sold more than 20 million singles worldwide, will perform a free concert aboard Carnival Splendor in February 2018, as part of the Carnival LIVE Concert Series. This is part of a brand-new partnership between the cruise line and Universal Music Group and Brands—giving us hope that many more big-name onboard shows will take place in the near future.
This will be the first time that Carnival will offer a free Carnival LIVE experience for all guests on board the ship (they are usually held in the ships' theaters). This special performance will take place Feb. 17 on the seven-day voyage on the Lido Deck.
When not trying to find Jepsen on the massive ship, guests will be able to take in the Mexican Riviera sun with stops in Puerto Vallarta and Cab San Lucas.
Ok, Carnival, we know what demographic you were coming after with this cruise!
“While I’ve performed all over the world and on Broadway, I’ve never performed on a cruise ship before and I’m really looking forward to a night with my fans in what promises to be a unique venue for an incredible night,” Jepsen said.
