Carl Hopgood Explores "Fragile World" in New Beverly Hills Exhibit

Thoughtful new exhibit at the UTA Artist Space in Beverly Hills.

New works from artist Carl Hopgood are featured in a new exhibit at UTA Artist Space in Beverly Hills. Fragile World explores themes of identity, masculinity, and today’s socio-political climate. Hopgood uses found objects, precariously balanced chairs, neon light, and chosen words to blur reality and breathe the current of life through his work.

Born of Welsh and Greek heritage, Hopgood’s work has been featured in solo exhibitions at Waddington Galleries, Karsten Schubert, The Groucho Club and Minnie Weisz Studio, London, as well as numerous group exhibits. His work is also included in various public and private collections including The Vinik Family Foundation, Eugenio López Alonso (The Jumex Museum), and Morgan Freeman.

Fragile World runs August 19 through September 10, 2022, at the UTA Artist Space at 403 Foothill Road in Beverly Hills. The UTA Artist Space is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For more information visit
