Las Vegas' brand-spanking new CityCenter, a futuristic development of hotels, restaurants, gaming, and retail, just got a little gayer.
Iconic West Hollywood gay bar/lounge/club the Abbey Food & Bar has partnered with Las Vegas party 
planner Eduardo Cordova and Vdara Hotel & Spa to host The Abbey Beach. Each Sunday starting last Sunday, August 22 and continuing through September 26, 2010 from noon to 6PM, gay-friendly Vdara Hotel & Spa's cool pool area will be decked out in Abbey flags.
How was the first one? Funny you should ask: According to Mary Giuliano, GM of Vdara Hotel & Spa, "We had more than 400 guests with us and are excited to welcome the community back for the rest of the season."
Its 19 cabanas are serviced by sexy waiters and Abbey's popular bartenders make appearances mixing up potent libations, and Abbey's DJs pump up the volume.
Notes:
- Labor Day weekend’s event will move from Sunday to Monday, September 6.
- Cover is complimentary for Vdara hotel guests, $10 for Las Vegas locals and $20 for all other guests.
