And, of course, there is a tap in every room.

The “world’s first crowd-funded craft beer hotel” is getting ready to start pumping booze straight to your room this summer in Columbus, Ohio.  A company called BrewDog that is based in Ellon, Scotland is building a 'craft beer Nirvana' hotel. Being called The DogHouse, it will be the first of many craft beer hotels—with a second being opened in Scotland in 2019.

A date for the hotel opening hasn’t been set quite yet, but construction is well underway, and they are shooting for a summer 2018 opening.

The idea for a beer-based hotel clearly struck a chord with people as the hotel raised $330,000 on crowd-funding website Indigogo in just a few months.

Here’s what the owners have to say: "DogHouse will have craft beer at its core. We have already started work developing some craft beer spa treatments, with bespoke hop oils (to emulate your favorite beers) and malted barley massages, as well as a 'hoppy feet' pedicure to put a spring in your step before a brewery tour! Fully immerse yourself in the world of craft beer during your stay, enjoy craft beer infused breakfasts, lunches and dinners, with beers paired to every course."

Probably the most important feature of the hotel is the in-room beer tap that guests can use to their liking.

Best not to rent a car for a visit here.
