Goodbye classy Kennedy blue, hello red, white, and blue.
Remember when Donald Trump tweeted that the price tag Boeing gave for a 2015 Air Force-commissioned Air Force One update was too much? Well, it seems Trump’s cost-cutting measures have only shaved off a few dollars as Boeing announced that to build the planes it would cost $3.9 billion.
Press Secretary Sanders confirmed the news: “Yesterday, the United States Air Force awarded a firm fixed price contract to The Boeing Company to design, modify, test, certify and deliver two Presidential, mission-ready aircraft by 2024.”
The planes will be two Boeing 747-8 aircrafts that will replace the current two used by Donald Trump that were originally commissioned when Reagan was president.
To put the price into perspective, an average Boeing 747-8 aircraft costs an estimated $357 million.

The jets will also be given a Trump-esque flair. He wants to completely change the livery that was initially designed by John F. Kennedy and Jackie. Say goodbye to the soft blues and hello to red, white, and blue.
