Favorite Vacation Spots for Closeted Men

The City of Big Shoulders, Chicago, is tops when it comes to attracting closeted men for trips. That information comes courtesy of MissTravel, which polled 5,000 male members on whether they were out. Those who weren't — a whopping 41 percent — were then asked where they like to travel.

Chicago may have come out ahead because of its reputation as an LGBT-friendly business center; it's thought many closeted men visit the Windy City to do business and look for a little on the side.

“Chicago offers a wide variety of gay­-friendly attractions that complement the midwestern values the city was founded on," Brandon Wade, Founder & CEO of MissTravel.com, said in a statement. Miss Travel matches "Generous travelers who hate to travel alone with Attractive travelers who would love the opportunity to travel the world for free." Mm-hmm.

Coming in second is Sydney, with Maui, Puerto Vallarta, Vancouver, and Las Vegas also ranking high. Read more here.
