Two-Minute Cinema: Aisha and Danielle Moodie-Mills
Aisha and Danielle Moodie-Mills have been at the forefront of the same-sex marriage movement. Once they succeeded in bringing equal rights to their home district, Washington D.C., the dynamic couple fought for the rights of others throughout the U.S. In 2015, Aisha, who is the President and CEO of the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund and Institute, was named one of the OUT100.
In this two-part mini-documentary presented by Amtrak, we meet the women, learn of their accomplishments and follow Danielle as she travels to New York to attend the OUT100 gala on behalf of her wife.
