White Party Palm Springs Ambassador Is a Grande
Big Brother star Frankie Grande, the outspoken brother of pop star Ariana Grande, was named ambassador of next year's White Party circuit event in Palm Springs.
“As a proud member of the LGBT community, being chosen as a White Party Ambassador is such an honor," Grande, who's set to make his Broadway debut in Rock of Ages, said in a statement. "I was blown away by the event last year and am excited to come back again this year to host the White Carpet arrivals and represent my community.”
White Party founder and producer Jeffrey Sanker announced other changes for the event, which happens April 24-27 all around the desert city. Tech advances will do away with paper tickets, allowing "fast track" scanned wristband entry. Most exciting though are plans for a complete takeover of Palm Springs Wet n' Wild water park, with gay revelers occupying the full 21-acre space for a Saturday blow-out event.
