San Francisco's ShangriLa Bow Tie 15th Anniversary Event Postponed to February

ShangriLa SF Black Tie Anniversary Event Postponed to February

The annual queer asian event was scheduled for January 8th at Beaux in the Castro, but a recent surge in infections caused the postponement until February 12.

ShangriLa SF and Beaux have announced the postponment of the special 15th Anniversary Bow Tie Party out of an abundance of caution for partygoers.

ShangriLa ("Your LGBT Asian Club Destination in San Francisco") also holds a monthly night at Beaux, a Castro venue that transforms from a craft cocktail lounge by day into a full dance club with revolving themed parties at night (including Vamp Mondays, Pan Dulce Wednesdays, and Big Top Sundays, which features star from RuPaul's Drag Race).

The 15th annual event was originally scheduled to take place January 8 at Beaux but organizers cited public health concerns over a recent surge in Omicron infections, writing in an email announcement, "We will be closely monitoring the situation, and plan on returning on February 12, our usual 2nd Saturday.  We look forward to celebrating with you then!”

ShangriLa SF is a 21+ event and all attendees must show proof of age and vaccination to attend.
