Winner must use all components of the prize in one trip that must be taken between May 1, 2006, and April 30, 2007. Hotel bookings are subject to availability at time of reservation and may not be made over October 20-31, 2006; or December 22-Jan 2, 2007. This prize does not include transportation to/from the airport, surcharges, government and airport taxes, meals, or any other travel-related expenses not specified. Once air tickets have been issued they cannot be changed; tickets are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash; upgrades are not permitted under any circumstances. Frequent-flier mileage accumulation is not permitted. Promotional ticket recipients may be held liable to American Airlines for failure to adhere to the restrictions and conditions of travel applicable to their tickets or for the fraudulent use of those tickets. There are no blackout dates, but seats may not be available on every flight. Travel is valid for one year from date of winning. Winner is solely responsible for all expenses and charges not specified above as part of the prize, including but not limited to transportation, beverages, gratuities, souvenirs, hotel services before or after the tour, side trips, optional extra activities, travel insurance, and incidentals. Prizes awarding products/services for two people require that you and your companion redeem the prize together. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. All contest entries must be received by April 30, 2006 via OutTraveler.com/Contest. Entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges consisting of members of The Out Traveler editorial staff. The approximate retail value of the overall prize is U.S. $2,300. Prize winner must be 18 years of age as of April 30, 2006, and is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes incurred. Void where prohibited. One winner will be selected from all eligible entries on the basis of originality and appropriateness of answer. The judges’ decision is final. Winner’s name and city will be published in a future issue of The Out Traveler. Neither employees of American Airlines nor LPI Media nor employees of advertising or marketing affiliates of these companies are eligible for entry. Ineligible entries will be disqualified.
