Have You Seen This LGBT-Friendly Ad In NYC?

Manhattan Mini-Storage are no strangers to fun, edgy ads. It's kind of their thing. Still, this ad for their "Storage Space Love Stories" campaign is particularly eye-catching. It shows Tipsy Von Tart in a beautiful burlesque ensemble sitting in her storage space/walk-in closet surrounded by glam finery. We're jealous.

The wit is all in the words: "I like my wife and kids, but I love my storage room" plays off the classic fear of "straight" American men behind closed doors. Punchline (and sexual politics) aside, the ad stands out because LGBT visibility is put on heightened display, with Tipsy towering over Manhattanites walking around town. We're channeling Tipsy next time we move!
