Wasp is the story of a gay couple, James and Olivier (Hugo Bolton and Simon Haycock), who open up an old family house in Provence, France, for the summer. When James' old friend Caroline (Elly Condron) unexpectedly joins them their relationship and sexuality are tested. It was gorgeously shot in 15 days — in a town called Gordes in Provence — and will certainly give you inspiration for your next trip to the region.
Wasp made its world premiere at the 2015 Boston LGBT Film Festival as director Philippe Audi-Dor’s feature film debut. "I wanted to turn the cliché of the straight-homo binary around." Audi-Dor said. "For once have a gay character be attracted to the opposite-sex, in order to properly open up a general discussion on the complexity of sexuality."
