2009 is going to be a big year for LGBT travel. Olivia's new Flings, aimed at young lesbians, will be in full swing; Sweet's lesbian cruises packages-cum-global aid volunteerism will be launching; and now, Steele Travel will add its name to the luxury LGBT list.

Officially launching in November 2008 with an upscale and exclusive exploration of Buenos Aires Pride, Steele Luxury Travel already started gearing up by sponsoring the Jeffrey Fashion Cares charity benefit in New York last spring and plans to sponsor the Pines Party on Fire Island soon.

Rio de Janeiro dominates the next two trips to "Reveillon" (or New Year's) in December/January and Carnival in February, but by June 2009, Steele will be ready to pull out all the stops and bring its travelers to Saõ Paulo Pride, the world's largest by most counts.

Although Steele will certainly stand out for creating unique experiences with its luxury standards -- everything is business class, 5-star and chauffeured by Mercedez-Benz -- it is also great to know that more LGBT travelers will soon find their way to South America's fierce cities, thriving international cultures and endless beaches.
