Fitness and health has long been the mantra of the modern, urbane gay man. Many go great lengths to achieve and maintain a high level of physical prowess (read: ripped abs and a firm derrière).
RealJock, an online community created for the fitness-oriented for gay man, provides a place for the like-minded to trade tips and pics and ultimately help each other achieve that perfect silhouette. For the travel-minded, RealJock went one step further by combining vacations with physical training programs. Get the most out of your time off by joining in this year's RealJock Bootcamp, a training program that gets visitors into shape in beautiful locations. In concert with Atlantis Events, (the words biggest LGBT cruise and vacation company), RealJock Bootcamp is setting up a training week in Club Atlantis Vallarta.
Led by fitness experts Billy Polson and Mike Clausen (owners of the DIAKADI Body training gym in San Francisco), this team will lead daily bootcamp workouts as they did at the very successful debut of RealJock Bootcamp in Club Atlantis Cancun last year. They are ready to pump you up in Atlantis’ beautiful, all inclusive resort vacation at the Vallarta Palace, located in beautiful Nuevo Vallarta (just North of Puerto Vallerta), Mexico.
The resort also offers swimming pools, tennis courts, bicycles, a full gym, not to mention a private beach offering volleyball, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, and more. This beautiful destination provides the motivation and encouragement some of us need to get off the couch and into cardio workout bliss. Mornings start off with 60 minute group training sessions, with the rest of the day free to relax and make use of Atlantis’ numerous amenities, which also includes four restaurants and an outdoor theater.
Club Atlantis Vallarta is being offered in two one-week sessions, from October 25-November 1 with the RealJock boot camp, and then from November 1-8 for a regular visit. You can still work out during the second week, if your heart muscle desires!
