Earlier this month, InterContinental Boston, along with Tesorino Gallery of Beacon Hill, launched a new art exhibition featuring the work of renowned glass blowing Maestro Afro Celotto of Murano in Venice, Italy. Inspired by the multicolored homes that dominate the island on which Celotto was born and taught -- the world capital of glass artisans -- each piece is a bright and vivid masterwork of color.

In honor of this exhibit, InterContinental Boston is offering "The Art of Glass" package which includes overnight accommodations for two at the hotel, a live demonstration of the ancient glass blowing technique at Boston's Diablo Glass School, and a few other surprises.

It's also just a lovely time of year to visit Boston for a weekend, check out some of the sights we love, and tuck into a hearty bowl of fresh New England clam chowder -- or a buttery lobster, yum!
