Story by Olga Bas

The Art Deco Raleigh hotel, located on Miami's South Beach oceanfront, is offering several deals to entice visitors over South Florida's slower summer months. Book three nights and get the fourth night free through September 30; rates start at $259 a night and include daily complimentary breakfast for two. Reserve at least seven days in advance and receive a 15% discount off your room rate.

Facing the sizzling Miami heat becomes a breeze thanks to The Raleigh's iconic swimming pool, which is surrounded by tropical foliage, a poolside bar behind a cascading waterfall, and private poolside 04 Raleigh Terrace_Nikolas Koenig cabanas. Dining on-site also earns high marks: breakfast, lunch, or dinner can be set out on the shaded terrace by the pool. With breakfast included in the room rate -- a full spread of eggs, bacon, toast, freshly squeezed juices, and coffee -- there's no reason not to dine in the fresh air.

Each of the 104 rooms and suites has Kiehl’s bath products, 400-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets, and a widescreen plasma TV. Private beach and martini bar access is an added bonus.

Travel tip: Purchase a sturdy leather or synthetic luggage tag or place a tag inside your suitcase in case the paper airline identification is lost in transit.
