New York City's Pride Cruise

New York's Gay Pride is fast approaching and there is a huge variety of events and activities -- both official and informal -- that you can choose among. Here's another very tempting option to consider: a nighttime Pride cruise around Manhattan.  A cruise on the Hudson is a great way to cool down after a hot New York summer day, plus it's an unforgettable way to see the skyline.

New York's famous Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises on 42nd Street at the Hudson River is hosting a gay cruise on Saturday, June 26. It's called the Gay "Pride Not Prejudice" Cruise. It's scheduled to start boarding at Pier 83 at 42nd Street and the Hudson River at 7:30pm, and sail from 8pm till midnight. Tickets are $35 and available online.

The cruise features four hours of entertainment and complimentary beer from Heartland Brewery. The DJ is Picture 1 Charo Velecio and the special guest star entertainer is the the lovely electric techno violinist Sarina Suno.
