The Hard Rock Hotel San Diego has announced a Pride Rocks hotel package valid through June 2011. The hotel, whose motto is "Love All, Serve All," is a sponsor of 36th annual San Diego LGBT Pride Festival.

The Hard Rock is a nice downtown option, well situated to serve as a terrific spot to relax in after all the Lobby01 festivities. The rate is attractive too -- $219 for an overnight stay in a Hard Rock Studio. Guests will receive a $20 "anything you want credit," which can be used at the hotel's cool retro diner MaryJane's, at the spa or the Hard Rock's nightlife venues, for room service, or even for an in-room movie. Right, the hotel lobby.

Another $20 from your booking will be donated to San Diego Pride and the very worthy Harvey Milk Foundation, San Diego Pride's charity of choice. The annual San Diego Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast sells out every year. It's worth reserving now for the next event (May 2011).

A bit of trivia regarding the hotel and famous gay San Diegans:  A San Diego native, American Idol finalist Adam Lambert donated his Idol finale (KISS) costume, below, to the Hard Rock’s memorabilia collection in December 2009 and it is now displayed in the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego.
